In the wake of Nex Benedict’s violent death at the hands of ignorant hatred in a bathroom at school, I’d like to donate my TRANS FOLKS ARE A BLESSI art print for schools and classrooms.

I was once an out 16yo trans non-binary afab kid myself facing routine hostility and as an adult artist this hits close to home. As a citizen of North Carolina, the state that invented the concept of bathroom bill, and a state that is still passing transphobic bills, this is the legacy NC’s ignorance and hate created and continues to perpetuate. Listen to trans kids, protect them, support them in the ways they ask. Cis adults have no business deciding what’s best for trans kids. To trans kids everywhere, fuck the bigots, stay safe, and fight like hell.
